A Need for Speed

It is another day at the office for Alex, but the drive to work makes him feel angry and frustrated. For Jo it is the first day of her new job. In her rush to get there she nearly gets run over by Alex. Jo decides to try and persuade Alex that he doesn't need to use his car so much and hopes this will mean that they can become friends.
The next day they have an adventure on the way to work and Jo reveals to Alex the impact that his car driving is having on our environment. She shows him pollution of the sea, of the land and of the air. It is a new day and Jo shares Alex's car journey to work. Jo informs him of the benefits of car sharing, they take a ride on the bus, they try out cycling and, simplest of all, walking.
